Front Desk Support Technician

Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s Degree;

MB Distribution requires an enthusiastic individual to help with all aspects of IT within the company. The successful candidate must be willing and eager to learn, possess a positive 'can do attitude' and have a desire to use hardware technology to solve technical problems. He will be working within a well-established IT Service team based in Bucharest and will be required to assist customers in solving IT hardware problems.

Job Description:

  • Responsible for taking over the equipment for service, directly from customers or courier services and performing an inspection of their visible physical state;
  • Responsible for logging service tickets in the internal software application for the requests of the company’s customers;
  • Responsible for verifying the valid documents (invoices, warranty certificate), in case of warrantee complains;
  • It will create service records with serial number verification and equipment modeling both on the invoice / warranty and on the equipment label and on the manufacturer's website.
  • It will keep in touch with the customers who have left the equipment in service, both by phone and email, informing them about the status of the equipment and any additional payment;
  • It will hand over the repaired equipment to the customers at the reception or will send them by courier.

IT Support Engineer / Technician

Ideal Candidate:

  • Technical Bachelor’s Degree;
  • Minimum 1 year previous experience in IT related and IT Support;
  • Experience of networking in general i.e. IP, DHCP, DNS, administration and configuration of Firewalls, Routing, Web server configuration, VPNs, and wireless networking will be a plus;
  • Must have strong knowledge on fixing and troubleshooting printers, desktops, monitors, copy machines on hardware level;
  • Certifications of any type of Lenovo, IBM, Fujitsu, Dell, Epson, Ricoh, Canon, Xerox, Lexmark, Seiko, CISCO and Microsoft products (will be a plus);
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken;
  • Good organizational and prioritization skills;
  • Capacity to communicate and collaborate effectively with Company’s clients;
  • Task oriented and fast learner of new technologies;
  • Driving Licence B category, minimum 1 year experience;

MB Distribution requires an enthusiastic individual to help with all aspects of IT within the company. He will be working within a well-established IT Support team based in Bucharest and will be required to assist in solving IT hardware problems where necessary in the day to day workings of the broader Technical Support/Customer Services teams.

Job description:

  • Responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing company and multi-vendor systems which include hardware, software and networking products as well as operating systems.
  • Provide operational support to all departments, supporting and maintaining the Company's user and multi-platform server infrastructure and business applications.
  • Able to assist the IT Support team working with the company's core technology (including laptops, desktops, servers, printers, PDAs, networks, internet connectivity, website, office/productivity and business productivity tools) with minimal supervision;
  • Provide onsite IT operational support on countrywide area for Company customers, according with business needs
  • Installs and optimizes HW/SW/Networking product and configurations at customer sites.
  • Can perform desktop, server and networking IMACs and can diagnose and resolve most desktop and networking incidents.
  • May diagnose and resolve product performance problems.
  • Logging requests into Helpdesk tool and work within internal Service Level Agreements for case resolution
  • Provide preventive and proactive maintenance on IT equipments;
  • Improving his knowledge, and achieving Certifications according with Company business requests;

Presales tehnic pentru soluțiile IBM Software

Candidatul ideal:

  • Studii superioare de specialitate în domeniul IT / tehnic
  • Experiență în lucrul cu sisteme de operare server Windows și Linux
  • Experiență în networking și securitatea sistemelor IT
  • Competențe în lucrul cu soluții de infrastructură hardware ( servere, storage și endpoint )
  • Cunoștințe solide de limba engleză scris, citit și vorbit, care să permită înțelegerea documentațiilor tehnice de specialitate, corespondență și conversație
  • Competențe în lucrul cu sisteme de baze de date constituie un avantaj
  • Competențe în lucrul cu portale, servere de aplicații și soluții de integrare de aplicații constituie un avantaj
  • Competențe în lucrul cu soluții business intelligence și statistică constituie un avantaj

Descrierea jobului:

  • Cunoașterea soluțiilor IBM Software ( IBM SW ), la nivel de funcționalități, cu capacitatea de a instala și de a configura oricare din soluțiile IBM SW
  • Instalarea și configurarea IBM SW, în mediile de testare interne
  • Coordonarea, pregătirea și susținerea workshopurilor / trainingurilor tehnice, organizate de MBD, pentru partenerii săi de business
  • Acordarea de suport activ partenerilor de business și echipei de vânzări IBM SW, în proiectele în care sunt implicate soluții IBM SW
  • Promovarea activă soluțiile IBM SW, alături de echipa de vânzări, în toate activitățile MBD, cu partenerii de business
